Materials You'll Need
1 skein of Drops Cotton Merino #16 Jeans (or 60-80m/70-80yds)
Any scraps of green yarn
3 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle to weave in ends

This pattern was designed using Drops Cotton Merino, a beautiful 50% cotton 50% merino wool yarn that's gentle against delicate baby skin and perfect for all weathers.
You can also use other DK weight yarns with a similar gauge. Always make a gauge swatch if substituting yarns, as different fibres may affect the final size and fit.
For the leaves, any green yarn will do. If you have a few green scraps left over from previous projects, this is the perfect opportunity to put them to good use.

R1: Ch 12. Starting in the 3rd ch from the hook, dc in the next 9 sts, 6dc in the last ch. Rotate your work to continue along the opposite side of the chain. dc 8, 5dc in last ch. Join with sl st. (28 sts)
R2: Ch 1, sc 5, hdc 3, dc, 2dc in each of the next 6, dc, hdc 3, sc 4, 2sc in each of the next 5. Join with sl st. (39 sts)
R3: Ch 2, dc 9, 2dc in each of the next 3, dc 6, 2dc in each of the next 3, dc 9, 2dc in each of the next 2, dc 5, 2dc in each of the next 2. Join with sl st to the first dc. (48 sts)

Loosen loop.
Leaves
1. Skip 3 sts (including joining sl st).
2. Attach green yarn with a ch, then ch 3 more.
3. Starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, insert your hook into the back loop of the ch, yarn over and pull a loop. Repeat in each remaining chain, including the joining chain. *Yarn over and pull through 2 loops on the hook.* Repeat from * to * until only one loop remains on the hook.
4. Ch 1 and turn.

6. Ch 1 and fasten off.
Optional: Repeat in the same stitch to create a second leaf. For a slightly larger leaf, begin with one additional chain.
For the second shoe, you can place the leaves on the same side or on the opposite side by attaching the yarn to the 16th stitch.
Blueberry Crown (last round)
*Sc, sl st in the next 3 sts. Work (hdc, dc, ch 3, sl st in the 3rd ch from the hook, dc, hdc) in the next st.* Repeat from * to * 3 more times.
Sc, sl st 8. Work (hdc, dc, ch 3, sl st in the 3rd ch from the hook, dc, hdc) all in the same st. Join with a sl st to the first sc.
Repeat for a second shoe, weave in your ends, and you're all done!
